Usually out of memory errors mean you missed a " somewhere in your ODFs. The way to fix it is to find the missing " and add it. Of course that's far easier said than done!

Yep, Chiletrek is still around, though I would be surprised if it was one of his mods that caused the problem. The most common places where the " is missing is in Ship Names and tooltips. If you edited the dynamic_localized_strings.h file, there are ways you can get that error from there.

Well I didn't modify hat file and the error only occurred after I put in the species 8472 packs.

You will have to look at every file you edited or overwrote to put them in, or else try to take them out and see if it fixes your problem. If they do have a bug though, there might be a patch available for them. You might want to check unless you have already downloaded it.

ok ive been i have been in contact with Chiletrek and we have solved the memory issue. but there is a new problem that neither of us understands. the mothership no longer moves and the passive embryo does not move of build. that and any embryo built by the mother does not leave it like they should.

Sounds like an issue with physics files. Do the units in question have physics files referenced, and if so have those physics files been altered or moved? Generally a ship refusing to move at all means the physics file is missing or referenced wrongly (I once replaced all the Js in a file with Is, as per the latin alphabet, unfortunately this changed more than just the Romulan ships names, it also altered the physics file reference in that Romulan ships ODF from "sMajTargh" to "sMaITargh" hence it didn't move!)

Well I fixed everything, but I'm Planning to overhaul the last three races, Klingon, romulan, and cardassian. So I will post any questions and any more Problems I can't figure out here.

Ok, now there is a new problem, again after so long of playing the game crashes. Now that I know what to look for, I searched thinking it was a file error, this is not the case. I will post more info as it becomes known and available.
