I tried to install stock A2 a few days ago and it installed but when I go to launch the game an error comes up and says not enough memory or virtual memory disabled something of that sort.

I don't know how to check my virtual memory but I have plent of space on my C drive.

Help please

I believe A2 had a problem where it could report not having enough memory if you had more than a certain amount of RAM, but I'm not sure what the threshold was. It might have been 2 Gigs.

u using a nocd? they fixed the errors with a2 not liking more than 2 gigs of ram, but i think it was tied to the loader, so if u replaced a file for a nocd, it would go back to not liking more than 2 gigs

I think there was a Config setting you could change for this (one of the premade ones), but if that fails, the patch project will fix it to my knowledge :)

I had the same problem, you just have to set the compatibility settings to Windows XP SP3 or if that doesn't work, Win 98

Thanks for the replies will try what is suggested. Also, I have the CD so I don't use a nocd thing
