Armada2 1.2.5 "Host has different version"

Hi!

So my friend and I installed the 1.2.5 patch last night and were able to get a game going together. Today however, it says something about the host having a different version. We've both got the same version and it worked briefly before... but now the two games are convinced they're different. Anyone got a clue?

Could be something in one of your installations was corrupted  When in doubt, reinstall I guess. 

I presume neither of you downloaded a map in the meantime from another computer, ran a virus scan, or something that was likely to touch the internal structure?

I have TuneUp Utilities and Norton that both routinely do stuff in the background... I reinstalled the patch to no avail, will try reinstalling the whole game again ^_^

Solved it, he'd buggered with some files

It WASNT Norton ?

Thats a NASTY virus man!
