Arming Mining Stations

I tried to add weapons to my stock A2 mining stations but they aren't firing. Is the problem with the station.odf file or is it something else?

Did you add weapon hitpoints? Without them, they have no weapons system to fire from.

shieldGeneratorHitPoints = 1612.5
enginesHitPoints = 0
weaponsHitPoints = 0
lifeSupportHitPoints = 1720
sensorsHitPoints = 1720

What about the weapon Hardpoints? Hp01, hp 02, ect. Are the hp's used among the ones listed below where the weapons are normally listed?

And is the station listed as combat capable; with combat = 1 in the odf?

yea i added weapon system hitpoints and used hps from the system hardpoints and got it working, another question could i do the same thing to research stations and shipyards? some of them don't have the line for system hitpoints could i add those in?

yh just add or lter the needed lines
