By the way, is there a list of weapon ODF variables that controls what system or systems are effected by weapons, how much they are effected, the time it takes to effect the system, and the time the effect lasts?

not at the moment, but you might be able to figure it out by combining the info in the guide with what you read in odf's

Yeah, all the odfs are pretty self explanatory - just look for one ones that discuss disabling etc. All relevant variables are usually named appropriately :) . I'm surprised Blade hasn't made a list yet, nor others  :sweatdrop:

Yeah modders, get off your arses and compile a better list  :lol: . In all seriousness though, for people who are knew to the system that would help enormously. I can interpret and understand a lot of the commands there - but I don't know what all of them do, nor all their effects etc :) . It'd be nice if some people compiled a new list for Fleet Ops, especially with the number of new commands that are added.

Is there at least a list of variables that varies shield damage amount from hull damage?

you can have a weapon deal only hull or shield damage

Well, in the weapon ODF there's a command I think called "ignoresShield."  It's a yes or no (1 or 0) question.  And in the ship or station ODF there's a command called "shieldProtection" which is a float value between 0 and 1.  0 being that the shields don't protect, 1 being that the shields are the only thing that takes damage.  There are several weapons that will do damage only to the shields like the shield disruptor on the Nebula Class vessel and the Shield Inverter Beam on the Warbird.  But there doesn't seem to be anything that varies the damage between the shields and the hull.  Even after going through a list of ODF commands that I didn't find very helpful.

I believe there isn't.  I think weapons will just attack the shields until they are down, then the hull, unless told otherwise.  Or they will just attack the hull, or just the shields.  I don't think you can make a weapon do a little damage to shields, and a little to the hull.
