Hero Specials For Armada 1 Borg Incursion Aftermath Mod

Talk about anything related to old versions of Armada.

The Borg Incursion Aftermath mod pretty much eliminates all the hero special weapons. I've tried adding them back in but they aren't working. I've made hero trans-warp drive and auto-assimilation bore along with the Holding beam that's already there. The weapons have been added to the tech-tree and I've tried playing the second Borg mission 'Assimilation'. The only weapon that shows up is the hero trans-warp drive. no holding beam or auto-assimilation. This is for Locutus's Cube. I notice the hero odf's only have '#special weapon' command. I made a tech-tree file for Borg2 and had it '#include tech1.tt but It didn't work. Any idea's or simpler ways to do this? (I'd like the hero special weapons to be more effective i.e. more drones per boarding party/assimilated crew per second and decreased special energy cost. The trans-warp drive doesn't cost anything it's more associated with engines anyway.) An otherwise fantastic mod.
