Stock Armada II does not appear to be compatible with Wine to my knowledge, but if you are running a Microsoft OS (i.e. with Bootcamp or something) it should function :)

Anyone ever tested it under a VM like VB?

Yep, I've got Fleet Ops, Tunngle and Teamspeak running under VMware Fusion 4 on OS/X Lion.  The only problem I have had is that you have to turn off Hardware Cursor in the settings.

I have previously had all of them running with no problems in a Boot Camp partition.

Something that needs to be noted is that Fusion 4 does not load the specific driver for your GPU, it loads it own generic driver.  This means that games can be hit and miss, some of them are compatible with the driver and some are not.

A2 runs on Wine. Granted, I'm using Ubuntu Linux rather than Mac OS X, but it works. It has a platinum rating over at WineHQ, too. I haven't tried internet or LAN play though, so I don't know whether or not that works.
