Modular Add-on issue

Talk about anything related to old versions of Armada.

I am currently having odd issues with add-on based stations. I will have a structure that is capable of building three add on structures: Initially all three add-on's are capable of being constructed, but after one is complete the other two become shaded and unavailable. At first I thought maybe it was an hp issue, though my modeler assures me that the three pod hp's are properly in the model's SOD. My only theory is that it possibly might be a classlabel issue. Is there anyone who's encountered the same issue?

I've included the 4 odf files as attathements since they were too long to post verbatim in this thread. The main structure is vrahq.odf and the three other files are the add ons.

I'm not so concerned with the AI at the moment, I am more concerned with having the player even able to complete all the add-ons without two of them becoming unavailable.

thats may have two reasons: all research options are capped by armada2, so every research can only be performed once. the solution would be to make some copies of your addons and use them to make them unique. The second reason could be, that your odf or sod is missing research hardpoints to perform research.

Well, I'm the modeler, and I've looked at the .odfs, and there's nothing wrong with either them or the SODs. As for uniqueness, they're all different. Two of them build ships (very different ships, mind you), and one repairs them.

Hmmm,

I think you going about this the wrong way although I haven't done this in a while so I may be wrong. What I think you need to do is make the 'hub' station a proper research station not a builder_ship, then change the 3 stations that attach onto the 'hub' to pod classlabel and use Brians context menu commands to allow them to allow them to do what you want.

I could be completely off the mark though
