Hello people, i need help to install the Armada 2 on my OS.

Simply i put the CD, open a window you can install, play game and i click on install the game.

After open a box of Installshield and run the Installshield , run to 100%.

After the Installshield  the process stop and nothing more occur.

I installed the game one time and ran very well. I uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall it and occurred this problem.

What's the matter???

I downloaded 2 mods for ST A2, i uninstalled correctly and removed the mod files.

It's a registry problem??? I can't imagine.

Wait around 30 minutes, sometimes it just takes a while. I had to wait almost an hour once for it to continue.

Don't worry about the registry.  Once you have 1 working install then you can just copy to make additional.  I think a lot of people here have several installs of A2 (there was a poll not long ago about this).  Just keep one unmodified copy and then every time you want a mod or FleetOps install just copy to a new directory and install there.

Create desktop shortcuts as appropriate.

Well, i will try.

I will take 1 hour to install, hehehe.

But it's strange, at the first time installed fast and all steps and didn't need to wait 1 hour.

Ok, i took 3 Hours waiting and nothing.

What's the other option????

Other option.  Install it either on another computer  or install a VM (Virtual Machine).  Once installed copy the game via USB or whatever to your own computer.

XP usually has no problems with A2 so it seems a little strange.

I did what you said.

I installed a program called Sandboxie and look, the Armada 2 runned very well.

100% of success.

Thanks Loki.
