does anyoen know if there is an odf command to make something completely untargetable?

Did you mean untargettable or unselectable?
Untargettable, yes (HOW to do it, depends on what it is - a unit, a map object, etc).
Unselectable, no.

either will do, seeing as untargettable is my only choice can you tell me how that is done on a unit, its a station
