Ship Name/Class Request

Alright, first if this in the wrong spot on the forums, I don't mind if it gets moved, but I have a very strange question and just want to know if anyone can identify the ship in this picture, what class it is and where I can find it, I know it isn't a Constitution-class starship but I would really like to have this ship for my mod, for both the Federation and the Terran Empire.

Actually i think it is....

See the ship is following a miranda class starship, and the caption is "we are now entering the mutaru nebula" wrath of kahn for ya, making that the constitution class starship

however the miranda should be following it.....

I'm still not fully sure it could be a Constitution-class because of the back part of the nacelles and the saucer looks slightly different and the space between the saucer and primary hull looks smaller. Plus the name and registry to seem to fit a Constituation-class and the NCC #'s look alittle too low if you look closely on the left nacelle plus the back of the ship has a something there that I haven't noticed on a Constitution-class ship before.

Question: Wasn't the ship in Star Trek The Wrath Of Kahn and refitted Constitution-class starship too?

Hmmm, i would presume it is meant to be a connie, but its not a very accurate model if it is.  What it looks like is a pre-TOS ship.  I remember someone quite a while ago released a pre-TOS ship pack, probably on A2Files, could be one of those.

Can you by any chance post a link to that mod for me that might feature that ship? Also ever hear of a mod or something called "Starfleet Museum"? If so maybe that ship could even be in there, I have also been looking for that but I don't know where to look for it either.

This is what that ship is. The Starfleet Museum - Quetzalcoatl Class

And yes the ship has yet to be released(mod exclusive IIRC).

Thank you for that ship, it looks pretty old, I think it will make a good ship for the Terran Empire and the Federation too, as an early buildable ship.
