Untargetable Unit

How do you make a unit untargetable, its driving me creazy?

thats not possible in general for the patch project or the 3.0.5 Fleet Operations release

really, damn thats not very nice... ive made it not appear on the minimap and made it invisiable, now i just need it to be untargetable, any ideas on how to get around it?

do you need this for something based on the patch project or fleetops?

the supply-routes thingy has a line "invalidAsTarget = 1" in its odf, dont know if thats gonna help

well it could be used for either to be honest but right now its for flops...

i did try that but it doesnt seem to do anything, i don't know if they ever got it working?

if you dont need to interact with the object you could use SysTrg

my ingelligence center once selected an empty spot in the area of a former enemy base for the sleeper agent, i had a talon refit there but i found nothing cloaked, i suppose it was a research or supply route "pod". so it seems to work somehow, still don't know if this is of any use

i think the problem with a pod is it needs to be connected to something but i will look in to it further.

can you explain what SysTrg is a little further please?

I don't need the station to be interactive, but i do need it to be able to autofire the warpin command... Ive got all of that done but problem is it can be destroyed before the auto count down timer has finished...

ok ok im not to sure what the hell i just did but i have made it untargetable now and auto warping so all is good

ok ok i do know and it was just adding the line "SysTrg = 1"
