Who is good at removing registries?

Talk about anything related to old versions of Armada.

I have a problem. I seem to have difficulty removing regestries while at the same time preserving the hull plating underneath. Is anyone here good at that?

How about this?

Why do you want registryless, anyway? They look better if they at least have something on the hull...

Err.... I want no registry because that way I can apply multiple names without the calassic "Why isn't this a hero ship if it has a name?" Question. :pinch: Besides, I wouldn't release these without some decent lightmap upgrade. Plus I plan on putting warpglows in. So that should make up for it.

Here are some textures of another ship. I only ask of the same. ^-^

I suppose that's one reason... I've always thought they look fake when blank, though...

These ones could do with new Borg textures, replacing the existing one with the images from the FO 'Assimilation' files. I've added a new version of the assimilated textures that fit the FO style better.
