i tend to cloak the klingon ships and have to wait what seems like forever for them to repair themselves enough to fly back to the shipyard
Why, they are unworthy of saving. They failed to keep their ships in the fight and thus should die without honor.....and all that.

The Klingons of canon would disagree with you, they rescue warriors in such a position. Klingons are so misunderstood...

I think Klingons would rather die in glorious battle..
On another note.. Im balancing my ships hardpoints for my personal mod.. and rather than create a new topic..ill ask my question in this one.... For Fed ships..which systems go down easier? I would think Life support, because its integrated throughout the entire ship would have the most damage points...and that weapons, sensors and shields would have the second most..and engines the least amount...
Thoughts?

STARFLEET CODE:
main system
primary backup of main system
secondary backup of main system
LIFE suport is main system !
I personaly think that when on fed starship fails lifesupport, weapons are out, shields are dead, engines are several light years behind ship, all engineers , officers and all sane persons are dead, but captains pet (srodinger cat) is still alive because of secondary backup for lifesuport....

I think Fed and Klingon Life Support systems are probably the most resilient... but Klingons would prob have their weapon subsystems take a bit more damage so they can hang in a fight longer.. their hulls are more armored..so even if the shields come down..the armor can take enough of a beating... I can't decide if I want to make the hitpoints add up to the hull points.. or have the systems simply be a percentage of the hullpoints individually LOL decisions decisions

No, they would not want their people to slowly suffocate, die from radiation or the many other kinds of death you get in space. The fact that they actually sent ships to rescue survivors (and have escape pods) says plenty.
Contrary to popular belief, they are not death seekers and actually value the lives of their soldiers.
