New Special Weapons Ideas:
1. Space Beast Summoning weapon - Ciadan or Noxtor?
Warcaft 3 idea
Using the Cardassian Quantum Sing. classlabel and weapon the Ciadan or Noxtor could summon in Space creatures under there control to attack there enemies in battle.This weapon is easy to make.You just need the space creatures that you desire to have.You will need a new Wormhole effect for this though.
Possible creatures:
Void Whale I posted before
Space swarm of insects
Ameoba type creature
Giant squid type creature anything with tenticles will do.
TNG episode Galaxy's Child type creature that uses lightning and radiation for weapons
Intelligent Gas cloud - has been made before by Terrydyhne
2. Summon Enterprise - Federation of course
Use the same idea above but use the effect_warp.sod for the wormhole.
Possible weapons
Static Warp Bubble uses temporal classlabel
Deflector pulse
Picard Manuever - Uses the Manheim classlabel to create 2 images of the Enterprise to confuse enemies
3. Tholian Web for the Tholians u plan to put in
4. Breen Energy Dampener weapon. Using the klingon Death Chant classlabel to negatively effect targeted enemies.Should not be multi targeted too powerful.
This should use a emitter to put a "draining effect" on the targeted ship.Captain Future made and designed a weapon just like this for the Breen in Shockwave.
5. Borg Energy draining torpedo
Uses the Shiled Inversion classlabel to drain shields of the target.I seen the weapon you have already in game.
6. Probe weapon should be given to most BB's in FO as a general weapon.
7. The Dominion race ships should only be built and deployed through a "station" that looks like there wormhole they use in the TV series.
There ships should be built faster then every elses and there Beam weapons should ignore shields.
Drawbacks for Dominion, lower shield strengths then other races.
I'll think of some more later.

You could mount more weapons on the ships without giving them damage to simulate having alot of weapons on board certain ships then they reallly have.
I seen this done on Fleet Command for Star Wars where the ssd's and others had tonnes of weapons but most did no damage.

These are powerful I grant that but would be wonderful to see ingame.Mushroom clouds rising up sending out 1-2 shockwaves radiating out from it.These have been made in Naval Armada and could be used with a lower technology race such as the Tholians? or someone else.

Well the summoning space creatures might be a good idea, but the problem is that it might throw off the balance to the game. I like the idea of the Picard Manuever. The ship could project a decoy which would stay there for a sertain amount of time and project a image of ship. I don't like the idea of dominion ships being built from a wormhole. In the dominion war the dominion built shipyards and used cardassian shipyards in the aphla quadrant, so maybe only the starbase should have a small wormhole attached to it to build contruction ships. But wormholes for all dominion ship building stations doesn't work for me.

I dont think the summon space monster ability would disrupt the "balance" of the game at all and would be a very plausible way of introducing new species into the FO universe.
Never summon a creature too powerful to control.
Only one or a few ships would have this ability and of course a long recharge time could be appiled so that u coudnt bring in mulitple creatures at a time.
A weapons guy named "The General" at STGN forums along time ago made such a weapon for the Enterprise for A2.So I know this is possible cuase I still have the weapon.
The idea behind a wormhole for all Dominion ships simulates the Dominion ability to outbuild other Star Trek races.StarFleet was always outgunned 6-1 or more in all the battles that I know of.
In fact to take this one step further, you could mix this up.Make them like the Feds, have certain ships made from shipyards, while the really heavy Dominion ships are brought into the game faster by a huge red wormhole from the alpha quadrant.The Feds use the warp in way to do it.It would just be the same thing really in practice while providing realism.
