Self-Mining/Refining Mining Station

How about taking a mining station, giving it the mining beam of a freighter and a replace weapon that has it refine dilithium. Maybe give a little phaser for self-defense. (I.E. Mining Mode/Refinery Mode) Give it alot of space too like a couple thousand units. Would that work? Could you change the classlabel from freighter to mining and back with a replace weapon? It might cut down on raiding but maybe we could make it where weapons fire lowers the rate of mining/refinement so raiding is still a viable tactic.

When you can build Dyson sfere, you do not need it any more....
