A quick question about the FO Negh'Var

Which race do you like most? What do you like - what you don't like? Discuss it here.

Isn't the one in game a model of a Voodieh Class, not a Negh'Var?

I've never heard of that Voodieh class, but for me it looks exactly the same model with a slightly different skin. It's probably a refit to the Negh'Var, maybe not even an official class?

I'm pretty sure the game's Negh'Var looks exactly like a Negh'Var class starship, nothing else :P

The Voodieh is a non-canon name for the Negh'Var (in an alternate, non-existing future) with 3 spikes sticking out of the front in 'All Good Things...'. The proper Negh'Var doesn't have them. If I remember correctly, the Voodieh Class is the one in the game, not the Negh'Var.

comparing the 2 pics, and the nose of both ships, i cant see a real big difference. even the neghvar has this spike infront, but its a bit shorter in lengh. and considering that the voodieh class is a ship of the future, its likely that it depends on the weapon-upgrades in the meantime.

The most obvious difference between the two classes is, that the Voodieh does not have the giant Torpedotubes. I miss them in FO  :( :whistling:

aye its actually a Voodieh, the "giant disruptors" will coem as an upgrade or something in the next patches :)

The "giant disruptors" are in fact mark 18 disruptors which have a devastating effect vs enemy stations like we see in "Way of the warrior"

All the more reason to put the Galaxy X Class in the game. Yes, I think it should be in the game.

Galaxy-X. If that doesn't fit in the experimental section, I don't know what will. What would happen to the Gal-X's monster cannon?

I will quit playing FO if that monstrosity makes it into the game. It's an Alternate timeline ship!

nope its not, the disruptor weapons were used by the klingons to knock out ds9 during their siege. booth the Voodieh and the Neghvar are valid "real time" stark trek vessels. Parallel-Universe and future vessels wont be buildable in Fleet Operations (well with some small exceptions but that would spoil to much :P )

The Neghvar refit will have the same size as the normal neghvar, just with the guns under the wings. it won't be a normal upgrade like refiting a Rhienn so it wont be that common

I meant the Galaxy X.

I really like the system you have with the Neghvar actually to be quite honest.

ah yep, sorry, missunderstood that. Yep The Galaxy-X wont be in as a playable ship

Will the Galaxy-X be a map unit?

that could be an option, why not
