I started off strong by popping the Borg outpost with a K'Vort + Vor'Cha rush. I teched up to Negh'Var's as fast as I could. As soon as I got Negh'Vars, I built ten of them, and rushed into Borg territory to capture a construction ship. I got one, after losing 3 of the Negh'Vars and another crippled. I begin to construct Borg techtree. Meanwhile, the Federation teams have minor (1-2 ship) skirmishes with each other. At this point in the game, I have teched up to full Klingon armory tech, and I am 1/2 done with Shields+Weapons upgrades for Borg. I'm not sure if it is cumulative (ie having a klingon armory and a borg armory and getting full upgrades on each makes your ships REALLY strong) About 2 minutes later, I have full techtree for Borg. I got one Klingon credit upgrade, I don't remember what it is at the moment. I got Fusion Cube credit 'grade and I built a transwarp gate in the asteroid base nearby me.

An attack from Red strains my defensive force, losing 30 or so ships, but bashing in the Federation fleet. I have the Transwarp gate and one conduit gate. I open the conduit gate to my all-Borg base, and I begin funneling forces through. Suddenly, a bunch of sovereigns rush through, avoiding my Assimilators, and goes through the gate to my Borg base. My Klingon HWP and Borg Phaser Arrays destroy them, but not without taking heavy damage to one HWP.

I have two gates. One gate funnels Klingon ships to and from my main base, and the other to and from my Borg base. I begin constructing Shipyards in my Transwarp gate area.

Green attacks my base with a huge-ass attack force. I funnel most of the defensive force from Borg/Transwarp bases to Klingon. Red sends a strike team in, and destroys the construction ships. Thankfully, I see them coming, and disable the transwarp gates before they enter. The remaining Cubes I have there assimilate the Defiants/Sovereigns.

That's where I am now. The game hasn't ended yet.

Here's the REAL strategy - In my transwarp gate base, I was coming under frequent attack from Sovereigns and Galaxys. So, I shifted some patrols and put Torpedo-reliant ships there and the attacks became less and less damaging, as the Torpedos quickly destroy Sovereigns. Then, being the EVIL AI that it is, it starts shifting to smaller, phaser reliant ships.

Me: Fine. I shift to pulsephaser Klingon ships. What do they do? Shift back to Sovereigns. Eventually I settled for putting bunches of Klingon HWP and Borg Phaser Arrays and kept 5 Assimilators + 5 K'Vorts

Wow, never thought i'd say it... But there IS strategy involved in A2! (at least in this mod)
