Assimilatable Weapons

any one know wot special weapons will be available :shuriken:

will they all be assimilatable??? will any other race be able to adapt other races tech for their ships??
seen feds do this to the borg (or rather voyager do this with borg tech)

will the clacks be assimilatable?

I suspect that most special weapons will be assimilatable, but the passive abilities might not be. I also suspect Cloak and Phase cloak won't be, as this would unbalance the game.

but it is weird that the borg never used cloak it would maek them a bigger threat

Their mission is not to destroyer, their mission is to assimilate. Seeing as how they don't have a problem assimilating, since they can already do so fairly unchallenged, cloak really isn't necessary.

yep, passive abilities and cloaking technologies can not be assimilated as well as some other special technologies (like for example a romulan spy.. an assimilated romulan spy wouldn't be that much help, cause borg don't use spies)

A regular special weapon - has a button to click and maybe select a target for it too
Cloak is unassimilatable d000hh, like it ever was assimilatable
And the passive abilities are also unassimilatable.

That is what I ment, though I feel stupid to explain myself, think about it a min, what else could I ment

when i said they were all made up i meant the special weapons
made up by the fleet ops team

the phasers/torps although made up as well came from the series/films etc

The whole Fleet Operations universum is made up. That's the key of telling stories.. making things up ^_^

indeed, but you should still keep some realism, don't go as far as making ships up, since ST has enough material already
