The borg arnt bad in FO, just hard to start off. Try making a few dozen assimilators and see how balanced they can get

I just use 16 CCs. I obliterate bases with artillery attacks. Eigther that, or I use FCs, or Cube and TC attacks... I have many Borg strats. And even more Romulan Strats.

I am also a big romulan fan, however I prefer assimilation to basic boarding. So I always play as borg, Muahahahhaha. After all this borg play, I've come to the conclusion that they are pretty powerful, but yeah they start out a little too slow. U have to deal with a constant threat from sovs when u don't even have scout cubes. The AI doesn't act like a borg either, it just acts like anyone else. Assimilation needs to be a key part of the borg. They need strong tractor beams. And more of them need holding beams. They need to establish a quick foot hold or they are wiped out idmediately. They have no defence when they begin, I have to build stations all around my base to defend myself. I can't wait till FO returns SP, because with this mod, SP will be incredible. I like the borg as they are now though they need a faster start

I count on them being slow, by the time they have an advanced shipyard i already got 2 intel centers. Only ones that seem to have any chance against me is the klingons.

yea, they are too slow and too weak.. btw the size of the ships is definitly not correct. sorry to say that but they really need bigger vessels to get closer to a more realistic view.

They are pretty big, too big and they would have real problems moving around. Already if you block the way of a fleet of Warbirds with a Starbase it takes forever for them to get around.

dunno what u mean. from my perspective, they are so big that a galaxy class next to a cube should be like these saber class ships in relation. hope u understand what im talkin bout. lol

and they got a lack of power. like said before, bigger ships, more power for their ships, but maybe fewer. so that one cube is a match for a fleet or sumthing. u know. like in the shows.

It should be like that but I don't think it will be. It probably should be like it was in A2 and make it look like any other race cept more powerful more expensive like they are now.
