Borg And Cats

I got a question if borg assimlate everithing what about cats and dogs or mice. What are you going to have a army of borg cats that will assimalte you with their claws. if so then why?

Maybe they simply ignore them since they are no use to the Borg and all eventually die off when the air becomes unbreathable.

the borg will only assimilate organism that are tegnological or cultural different. So bacially, sentient organism with some degree of technology. Other non sentient life would be destroyed.


i think that is the whole idea behind the borg

ya but it whood be cool on the show if thay made tham in to walking wepinds and sucraty anaml drones. thay cood be used in the asimalshon of planites thay move fast so thay can use tham wher tharre are pockets of resistans. just have it run in and asimalte / kill evry thing.

well... the borg got no use for that animals... cause they dont sneak in and assimilate... they´re sendin in fleets of cubes and overrun the planets... ^_^

Shouldent this be in small talk or startrek even, cuz i dont see any relevence to fleetops.

The nanoprobes would adapt the cats to any atmosphere and they would have a cat colective but the borg wouldent understand them so they would try to deacyivaate them but the cats would resist and go kill all the borg using there cyberneticaly enhanced claws.

yes but with the bord avsted medical tenolage thay cood make tham in to a hire life form. espand thare brands. or shrink tham and use tham by remote. "KL0K" why use what takes 500 drose to do what cood be dun faster with some thing more sooted to the task.

The Borg only assimilate a target if:

A) It has warp drive
It has a a sizeable warp signature (a large mass)
C) It has relevant technology worth assimilating
D) It poses a threat

As I said if they assimilated earth the cats would simply be ignored and they would die off when their food, water or air disappeared.
