Cardassians in next patch?

Which race do you like most? What do you like - what you don't like? Discuss it here.

Hello dear community!! :D  :D
I'm glad to see all the recent developments for the redos. Everything sounds well on its way!!

Can we expect to see that "Cardassian pack" introduced into fleet ops in the near future?

I have even heard that some new designs for the cardies are on their way!! :woot: :woot:

And yes I know they are not gonna be a playable faction!  :crybaby: but nevertheless that would be splendid and would add more depth to the game.

Most likely they will go in when the NPC-races are going to be implemented.

The next big patch(es) will contain the main redoes of the playable races.

Ah ok . I was thinking maybe they will be introduced as some kind of rouge faction on the maps
something that is optional and you can switch on and off in the game settings like random events. ^-^

And by the way they are on the to do list for quite a while now.
I would even say before the borg faction redo started.  (I don't mean that disrespectfully)

Things aren't listed on the todo list in the order they are going to be completed, rather if they think of something they want to put in the game, they will add it to the todo and worry about the order later.

When you follow Fleet Ops for long enough, terms like 'soon' and a 'while' start to fade away into meaninglessness. The end result, however, always justifies the wait.

you don't remember 3.1.6, man that was terrible. :(

Yes, but like every revolution, it has its rough periods. I know that people criticize the current version, blame the staff for their wrong doings because "that counters this but is countered by the other - it sux" and "this is overpowered", but it simply not true. :shifty:

All the combinations have been figured out, there is nothing to find out anymore now they whine and complain. Its like a game of chess, you do it long enough and you have it all figured out!

You don't hear people at chess complaining that the bishop is owerpowered... or do they? B)

Go actually play 3.1.6 before you defend it. :(

Also everyone knows bishops are UP, it's prawn rush that's OP. A prawn rush can make starcraft players break down crying and muttering about zerg.

Sorry lurkers, couldn't pass up the opportunity for some fun :)

I needed it :P , still need to finish upgrading my computer so I can run fleetops again. Might be end of semester before I get the free time, probably a good thing from an academic pov.

In fairness, who could have predicted that an early-game sabo-station with a 100% success rate could have caused such an imbalance?

so these cardassians in th next patch, they can work like an A.I team but dont take up a player slot?
can you get them to mine and build stations, build ships and attack?

Cardassians will not be included within the next patch, they are slated for the more fundamental Map Redo patch(s) :) .
