Early Ambassador Impulse engines

Which race do you like most? What do you like - what you don't like? Discuss it here.

I've just been on the PotD for Bridge Commander Files and seen a very impressive 'last stand' shot of the Enterprise-C at Narendra III. The comments had a debate about the color of the ships Impulse engines; red or blue.

Does anyone know the proper color? If blue, it could be used as one of the visual varients in a later patch.

ninjad by mort, indeed it had a blue impulse engine there.

the only options we have to changing visuals is rankups, but new ranked ambassadors wouldnt get older engines lol.

Been mention of different vaiations around independant of ranks in a future version.

Of course, the color means about as much for age as registry numbers (which we all know isn't defined at all). They could make it baby pink if they felt like it.

If I had it my way, I'd have the model we have now but with the blue engine as the initial version, then add all the Yamaguchi stuff on rankup along with the red engine.

In case anyone wants some crazy detailed bullshit:

Everything anyone would ever need to go completely nuts on the Ambassador model.

i think i speak for everyone when i say that the only important thing is to make sure the ambas gets saucer separation. thats the crux of the issue. i dont really care what colour engine it uses, as long as it can split into 2 :D
