Fleet Ops timeline (ST II spoilers) ( also Armada 1 spoilers

I don't know if this has already been done, but what timeline is Fleet Operations set in?
Because of the actualy sensible creation by the movie, Armada has its own timeline (Two actualy, because of the 16th mission)

It assumably is not in the new movie's, and not in the one from first contact. Nor is it Armada's first timeline, where Earth was assimilated. Or Capt. Demming's.

If it is Armada's second, then we can still have Romulus, because with the advanced tech by the alliance with klingon, romulans and federation, could have saved it. ( I remember that was a discussion, weather we still had romulus.)

But if it is Armada's timeline, where did all the special weapons go, or were those just gameplay mechanics?

Mabey it is Yesterday's Enterprise's timeline

Just thought I would put that out there, because it could do a lot to explain the story of FO.

That wasn't realy what I was talking about, unless you mean the main, un-altered timeline. I was not talking about what year or era, I mean, since this is called Armada II: Fleet Operations, does that make it a continuation of Armada, because of the whole creating new timelines thing from Star Trek XI.

Because Armada had time travel in it, that's what started the whole story off, so Armada is in an alternate reality from the rest of Star Trek.

The FO timeline splits off sometime during the Dominion War. Armada 1 takes place after the war, so I don't think FO and A1 or 2 are in the same timeline.

Ahh, ok. So are we pulling an incident out of our hats, or are we going on a known time travel?

Or mabey even just making fiction of the futre of star trek, no alterations to the timeline?

As far as I know, it has nothing to do with timetravel.  I think it is supoed to be several years after the dominion war.  I actually think it was said that it was 30 years after the war, but I'm not sure.   It is a future timeline, that is for sure.
