Facist, I'm playing the computer first and analyzing all the videos posted by yandonman and others to learn strategies. When we meet online, you will know that resistance is futile against me :D :D

The Main Page - The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fleet Operations

This will be helpful, just memorize what ships counter what, and remember that you still need to build varriety while playing rock paper scisors.

welcome to the forum new ray. hope you enjoy your time here, the guide is certainly useful. i suggest playing a few games against the ai and watching a few replays to get a general feel for the game.

ignore the poster above, fleetops is more than just a counter game. in this patch counters are stronger than intended, so expect it to ease up later. just remember that spamming 1 type of ship will leave you vulnerable to counters, so a mixed fleet will serve you well. and attacking is very important, killing their miners is always great.

Facist, are you on east coast or west coast? I'm on the West coast and would love to play you just to learn more about the game.

I use to play Starcraft so I have a feel for building and all that. The only thing I'm not good at in this game is my construction craft. I can build fast, etc but then it just sits there and I'm not sure what to do with it. I know a idle construction craft is not good lol.

he's from lancashire, in the uk, which he hinted at by giving his GMT time zone.  :whistling:
