How to "install" a MOD

Which race do you like most? What do you like - what you don't like? Discuss it here.

I love the site, lots of good information and discussion... and I assume mods.

Trick is, I see lots of info on the mods and how to mod, but no real information comes up when you search for "how to install mods".

I was hoping someone could chime in and help an old fella out.

Armada, Armada 2 both installed and patched up as well as Fleet Ops 3.2.7 I believe.

Here you go!

It hasn't been updated in a while...but the process hasn't changed. The devs made Fleet Ops pretty easy to modify and install mods.

I appreciate it and will look into your mod later.

Did the STA2Classic finish uploading (the vid commented it hadn't), I'm not certain what I have is actually the mod vs some hackware complete install of STA2.

There is a mod called Star trek armada Improt. Not sure how bug free it is, but here's the link.

Thank you, the STA2 Classic I have is working like a charm and very accurate.

I was recently playing STA2 1.25 flawlessly on Win 10, but it was fairly slow. I didn't notice until I fired up the Fleet Ops mod for the same missions.

Much smoother pathing, crisper graphics, build bars under bases, larger fleet windows, ect...

Hats off to all who contributed to this community and that mod!
