How To Start The Mod?

I installed the mod +patch + multimedia package.
If i hit play in the launcher an empty map is launched and i can do nothing.
If i start the mapmanager and try to edit a map the game is correct started an i can choose instant action from the ingame menu (but nothing editable here). So what i am doing wrong?

hi welcome to the fourms right have u tried reinstalling if try downloading again if you still can't get it to work try sending the log to optec (c:program files activisionfo datatemplog.txt) and another thing you posted a tecno problem in the general fourm

Sorry for wrong Forum.

I reinstalled it - no change. Before it installs the mod performs a crc check, so i don't think the problem is there. I think there is something wrong with the launcher, that it starts the game instead of the mapeditor and the other way.

np and have you tried downloading again that might be it as i said see if you can send the file to optec he should be able to help you more.

hm, try to start the game via the FleetOps.exe, not via the launcher.. if it still does not work you should send me the logfile as eufnoc mentioned. you can attach it here at the forum or send it to optec@borgcore.de

I redownloaded it, same result as before.
I still must start the mapeditor instead of the game to start the game.

so hard points are missing on the larva some lights on the romulan star base and FERENGI???(where did they come from??? i have never seen the ferengi on fleet ops b4) but there sods are missing (i think thats it correct me if i'm wrong optec)
