hy, i am new here

hy, i am new, and i cant play game beafore saturdey, but there is one thing that i really want to know.

is there any heros like e.g.  in lotr batle for middle earth aragorn, gandalf....... is there enterprise or voyager that cost more then ordinary galaxy or intrepid class but is much better

hero ships arent implemented right now, but  the romulans and dominion have really big dreadnaughts which you can only build 1-2 times and which are very strong, so they could even count as heroes.

There are no hero ships in FO.

Still, ships in this mod can gain combat experience and level up. Usually, when they gain one or two gold bars, they have a marked increase in stats or gain new specials, most of them passive.

When a ship reaches two gold bars you can choose to upgrade it to Veteran status. These are as close to hero ships as you can get in FO. But you only have 25 veteran slots, and depending on the ship class, it takes more or less slots to advance it to Veteran.

For instance, the Fed Steamrunner costs 4 slots to advance to Veteran, so you can only have 6 Veteran Steamrunners. This particular ship is one of my favourites to become Veterans, as their shots ignore shields once reached Veteran status. You blow up one starbase with six of them firing at it from out of its range.

If I'm remembering correctly, it has been suggested mutliple times that Veteran ships are the Heroes. Any ship could be a hero that was denied the spotlight.

Tyler is correct . Optec has stated that the Veteran vessels are the team's implementation/take of traditional type hero ships.

Most of us use Wippien for online play. If you go to the "Online gaming" Forum, there is a thread on how to set up Wippien for Fleet Ops multiplayer.

As DarthThanatos said most people use Wippien now : Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - Wippien List -Sign Up Now! (I will keep it updated on a continual basis)

Written instructions can also be found in the guide downloadable from the FO 3.0 downloads section
