I finally managed to get DS 9 as a playable station for the federation into FleetOps Beta 2 !!
Hell, this was hard, but now I´m satisfied. It has wireframes, a buildbutton in FO-style and realistic weapons at the right hardpoints.
Now I´m waiting for the dominion and all is perfect.
I´m happy.

I attached a screenshot of it, hope you like it too.

in Fleet Operations they won't be able to build DS9 the cardassian version of it will be available to the cardassian non player race

it's the same on mine why does the (normal) ship yard always look like you can't build it it looks faded out

That looks just like the DS9 from the Battlestations Mod...even has the same description.....

well he didnt say he made it he said it had button, wireframes, weapons in correct spots. but he did get it working lol

I didn´t make the model, I just downloaded the A2-addon from STARYARDS and made it work with FleetOps by editing the odf, the sprites and the federationbuttons. It has strong phaserbeams and photon torpedos.
You can take it as a replacement for the default outpost, so it won´t be built by the feds ;-)
On the screenshot you can see another little modification. I made two different defenseplatforms. One with phaser and the other with photon torpedos.
I personally don´t like pulse phasers for stations, so I gave them phaserbeams.

Just finished a game against 3 Borg enemies with hard AI, it took them half an hour to eliminate me. Congrats to the AI, it´s great work.

It'd be better as a Cardie station with less weapons, maybe a lightly armed minig station.

waw that is cool. if you still are on fleet ops did you have eny bugs with it if you remiber? responded to very old post probly posted befor i joned.

i myself have been trying to put different variations of existing ships into fo without much of a result :cry: do you think you could help me with that??
