"Indeed" pehaps the vulcans broke off from the iconian as the 2 shapes do seem to fit together in a way. they have quite a broken race lol

in the Iconian episote ("Contageon"(TNG)), its interesting to note that one of the locations that appeared in the gateway was none other than the Toronto, Ontario city hall!
