List of weapons/passives?

Dont suppose someone could add a list (by race is proabaly easiest) of all of the weapons, and passive abilties and such ?

Thanks, I should have probably specified a list of what weapons AND the corresponding .odf files .......

ODFs are in almost all cases named the same or very similarly to the weapon itself. I suppose it might be possible that a list can eventually be generated for the ODFs for the guide, as the parser will be using that information directly in any case.

Not exactly the most obvious, tho I'd guess from the number of hardpoints taht fedW_galaxy1 is phasers and fedW_galaxy2 is photons, but its far from clear, hence this thread. Yes, I could look in the correspondign weapon .odf's, but I figured if there was allready a list, it'd be easier to ask for it :p .

Speaking of which, adding a letter after W to identify which type of weapon it could would be helpful.

Phasers are always weapon 1, torpedoes are always weapon 2, as I recall. I can add this data into the guide, but it should be extremely straightforward in any case. FO naming conventions always follow a pattern :)

Only for the ships that have phasers. Not all use them, so 1 = phaser won't apply.

as long as you reference everything correctly, you can name weapons anything you like. The naming conventions used are just what we use :)

Ok, took me about 20 seconds, but here's the naming convention. Will be added to this page when I've formatted it.

Basic Unit has pulse, beam, torp - Weapon1 is beam, Weapon2 is torp, Weapon3 is pulse. If missing any of these weapons, then numbers shift, but order stays the same. Aka, Weapon1 is torp, Weapon2 is pulse. Or Weapon1 is Beam, Weapon2 is Pulse, etc.

Basic Unit gets an upgrade which adds an additional weapon. Additional weapon is N+1 weapon.

Well nice to know the basis of the pattern (kinda suspected it was orderd like that tho  :p )

And Tyler, I agree, having the .odf contain a naming convention that says what the weapon is would be a good idea. From the looks of it all that'd be really needed would be to add a T(orp) Pu(lse) or Ph(aser) at the end of the .odf's name
