making mixed-tech units for borg

how do i make mixed tech units for borg? i just see their mixed tech buildings but there are no upgrades or possible ships to build in their mixed-tech yard. i already upgraded my fleetops to 3.0.1 but it was still like that so it's an aspect of gameplay i haven't discovered yet but i could find no solution.

There are no mixed tech units for the borg.
Their form of mixed tech are the adaptor's adaption modules for the different races.

i don't get it. how does it work? :( i keep building that building but i have no idea what to do with it.

You know the modules for the Borg ships? Each Mixed-tech yard allows you to have an extra module for the Adaptor Class that (supposedly) reduces damage from the appropriate race.

I tested it out the other day and was able to beat 3 akira's with 1 Adaptor pretty easily, But the cost and difficulty of actually getting it makes it worthless, You'd be better off having the modules on all vessels and rethinking the Adaptors role.

oh i see. so i still have to capture a construction ships as well. this will prove difficult.

i had an idea but normally i just destroy the enemy's base. i never tried to capture them.
