Naming lore

I'm curious of the devs as to the history/origin behind some of the names of the starship classes?  In particular the Rhienn, can't seem to find any sort of info about it online at all.  Were they from roleplaying Star Trek/personally crafted ships/fleets?

Cant speak for the Devs.  but usually when i name  Klingon ships i try to find a dictionary to translate stuff into Klingon I dunno if there is a Romulan dictionary or not  but with Romulan ships i either use names of on screen Romulan characters sense Romulans seem to like to name there ships after there dead Admirals, Senators, and Praetors  or just make up a name that sounds Romulan

well the guide says the devs made a trek rpg. its likely they just invented a bunch of random names which sounded cool lol

I think many of the names come from Star Trek card games, novels, and the like - but of course you'd have to ask the devs themselves
