New * Gameplay Feature

Would the developers be able to explain a little on what "New Borg/Romulan/Klingon/Dominion Gameplay Feature" means? Gameplay feature like the way that the Feds have warp-in as a unique gameplay feature?

I think they're going to be posting articles detailing the individual faction redos in the coming days/weeks. I'm sure there'll be plenty of attention devoted to specific changes.

Yeah, I get that. I wanted to know about the meaning of the phrase, not the actual feature.

What is a gameplay feature? are ships gameplay features? weapons? the way a group or function behaves? this phrase can be interpreted many ways...

I was more looking for a technical definition.

my interpertation is gameplay feature like the borg making ships with diverse modules in a chassis or the feature of the feds to have warpins

yep, thats right. "gameplay feature" means some kind of new, more fundamental mechanic, like the borg ship configuration, federation warp-in or stuff like that We will add more unique stuff to underline the race characters and offer new options to play

Nice, thanks guys. I appreciate the information. I can't wait to see all the cool changes to the game as of the next patch. I hope those new gameplay changes are going to make it into the next patch.

By race characters do you mean avatars?  I dont mean to pry, but Can you answer the question wether or not the 3rd avatar options will be part of the redo?

Judgin by Optec's tone, he means 'characteristics' - the patch is designed to make the races all feel more unique.

I could be wrong, of course - but that's how I read it.
