Didnt they say that the cardassians were commin in as a mayor NP race and maybe as a avatar for the dominion. So I dont think there was any change of plan ^_^

sounds familiar to me... i think i remember that episode... was it stuff with an altar and crazy symbols on the screens and overriding datas brain to display all the lost ppl? and that stuff like that? but as i remember it right, they were all dead.. and that for a long time.. without a trace or known technics... *scratchin his head*

Iconians do exist in and its Canon Star Trek, but i thinkt he "Ciaden" will be very interesting........very low crew due to.........Yeah...eh?

hey to be the promelians would be realy cool I'll give a discription now of them in case not everyone rembers. Little is known of the Promellians; they and the Menthars fought to their mutual extinction in a major war approximately 1,000 years ago. The war was notable for the extreme destructiveness achieved with the relatively primitive weaponry of the time.

In 2366 the Enterprise-D found a Promellian battlecruiser adrift in an asteroid field. The ship was still intact, and the Enterprise-D personnel were able to go aboard and examine some of its logs. The ship had become trapped in the field by a Menthar booby trap; the asteroids had been seeded with systems which absorbed energy from the ship's Lang cycle fusion engines and re-emitted it as harmful radiation. The ship had been unable to escape, and all of its crew had eventually been killed.

The Enterprise-D was also trapped in the field, but was able to free itself. The ship destroyed both the asteroids and the promellian battlecruiser to prevent any unwary travellers becoming likewise snared I got my info from the day strom instute

If anny likes my Ida then i would be able to provide wepon techonogly and ship seedlings not lihe computer graphicks but like drawings and detailed discriptions

i saw the episode but i remember the situation with the astroidfield and that stuff... well i would like to see some kind of "episode remake" on a map for example but i think its fiction to create an astroidfield in A2 with such abilitys...
