new ships avail in next fleet ops

so ppl new fed ship like excalibur?,the scimitar?,summut stronger for dominion like cardassian angle for them,what else do u want to c,as was just wandering from various posts i have read,and wat is planned for the future by the geniuses that continue to improve fleet ops and let us alter it for our own pleasure

There is a difference between what we might want and what the Devs give us... 

However, If I was to have my way I would include the Excalibur. Even though, interestingly enough I am usually a big proponent of keeping things Canon. There have been ships added in the past which I cannot imagine living without like the Remore. Even though it wasn't my favorite design to begin with it has grown on me significantly... I believe the Excalibur could be like this, some argue that it's ugly or not canon. But hey look at the Remore or Tavara, they turned out great!
When done correctly a little liberty with ships can make a great and interesting new addition to the game so I hope the Excalibur isn't ruled out only because it isn't canon.

The Excalibur is good, though I wouldn't mind seeing somethign with different nacelle look, like the Soulwolf. Or the Highlander, or something like that.

But hey, I can't disagree. What the want and the get are very different.

No more ships, please. There are already enough for each race. Maybe the Borg could use 1 or 2 more but that's it. It's better for the long run to increase game play mechanics instead of pumping up the game with models. But I'm confident the dev teamis going to do the exact right thing on that matter.
Just my 2 cents.

The Feds and Romies are already getting 1 new ship each Jan   :whistling:
... and I agree, too many ships is bad... I'm already confused why the above change is occuring

Too many ships can be bad, but can work for the Federation thanks to the Warp-In limits.

I'm for a new ship for the klingons. They dont really have a long lasting ship I think. The Negh'Var got too little defense and a too short range. I'd like to see a klingon dreadnought.

So the only race without a dreadnought would be the federation, but that is not really a problem because you already fight with mixed fleets as a core strategy.

agree with borg needing sumthin,maybe weapon assimilator from a2,and sum thing more to there ship line up,maybe diff variations,but fed could do with bits maybe nova class,maybe just map objects of old ships that work that can be self tweaked as buildable,klingons do need a ship ,more powered then negh'var,never liked the super weapons from  a2,but borg wud work well with transwarp hub,still think borg ai needs tweaking so that buildings and base uses holding beam when its available,like having discussions like these

I'm pretty much in favor with more ships up to 20 ships per race (other than Borg, the borg only need 2-3 more)

The Borg are getting one more ship as are the Feds and Roms. So far the Feds have 22 ships, the Roms have technically 17 (refits cough), the Dominion has 15, the Klingons have 19. I think these are plenty for the current mixed fleets.

Oh, and don't forget mixed tech extra unit stuff

sum of the mixed tech is good and not so good,thats said dominion needs more ships,maybe stronger fighter variation in the mainline,or cardassian ships in the line up and stronger bream ship with emp weapon that disables 1 ship for like 10 secs or summut similar 2 ds9,and as for this extra race species 8472,wud be good as variations on bio tech wud be good dont think a2 went far enough with that,romulans should get scimitar as 1 time capital ship similar to dominion artillery ship,wud be wicked in fire fight
queens should have bigger stake in the borg as like a systems upgrade or summut maybe
