Try downloading Wippien and following the instructions in the downloadable guide in the downloads section to install it correctly. You'll find an abundance of players online at all hours of the day I'm sure :)

Hmm, during the week I'd say that more people (at least from the US) can be seen in about 2 hours from when you posted. During the weekend, pretty much all day :)

If you want some games later, just send me a private message or go on Wippien and let me know :)

Juegan pocos jugadores europeos, y los de USA suelen empezar a conectarse alrededor de las 22:00, hora española.

Yeah, well...

Fin ES.

On September, 11th, 1714, over 20000 soldiers started the final assault on Barcelona. Finally, after over 4000 victims, the Catalan capital surrendered to the invading troops.

Yeah, cheers...

Yeah well...
Today is also the anniversary of the September 11th attacks.... You didn't see me bring that up did you...?

I brought it because not all holidays are happy days. You didn't knew, so I informed you of what we Catalans commemorate. And remember. For almost 300 years.

Let's say your "cheers" comment didn't sit well, and let's leave at that. :)

I'm sure that every day of the year--probably every hour in fact--has held some meaning for some culture throughout the ages. Do I start making an outcry about every one of them? You cannot remember for 300 years, because you were not born 300 years ago--even if the repercussions have lasted that long. In lieu of starting up a political/religious/ethnic/whatever debate, I'd say that it would be best if we removed the silly semi-incendiary comments here as this is not the thread in which to post them. This is Cesar's thread, and if you respect the purpose of the thread I would hope that some deletions/corrections would be in order. I still am not sure what Friday having to do with 7 Brits and Amuuuuricans being online has to do with war and devastation, and I am certainly irritated that a harmless comment of "cheers" in response to a loaded question (only apparently loaded in retrospect mind you) had to lead this thread astray.

Thank You Dominus, I wasn't going to post anything further... since it seems that would not have led anywhere productive. But you've summed up my feelings nicely. Guess sometimes it just takes a third party perspective.

Just a (very minor) clarification: I wasn't born two hundred and ninety five years ago. That's why the statement is "we Catalans", and not "I".

Besides that, this particular thread is in the wrong forum, and not very "important" to FO in general. Cesar got his answer long ago, so I felt I could play it a little more loose than usually. And, of course, I didn't mean to start a hijacking that starts to look like a flaming war over a non-FO subject. Let's drop it altogether, and let the thread run its majestuous course towards the end of the page instead of bumping it. :)

I agree that this should be dropped. But before I depart I would like to comment that this may or may not be your intention but the tone of your recent posts seems condescending. You may want to work on that in order to avoid unwanted misinterpretations in the future.
