pushBuildItem and research

hi i was looking into a new upgrade system for a f03 mod i'm working on but want to know can research stations use the pushBuildItem command to build pods automatically when the station is built

ok tested and so far i've had no luck could this be added or if it can already be done can some one tell me how thankyou
