Recording with CamStudio

Hi guys, I was thinking of recording games with CamStudio. I thought that recording from the speakers would actually just record the game. But when I played back, I heard myself striking the keys for shortcut keys on certain commands. And a couple of times I heard myself breathing.

If I set it to 'Do not Record' setting, would it only record what is on the computer? Or is that what the Speaker recording codec was for? I want to be able to record without the risk of people hearing me yelling down to my parents that I'll be down in a few minutes because dinner is ready. :P

If there is no known way how to capture only the computer sounds, then can someone find me a Free recorder that doesn't have time caps or leave watermarks that can do that?

If you're using camstudio 2.0 (What I use), then instead of record from speakers, use record from microphone, in the audio options for microphone, the audio capture device should be stereo mix.  Then just make sure you're mic is unplugged.  Keep in mind that this will record ALL sound from your computer, such as messenger sounds, etc.  So turn those off or mute them if you don't want that sound added as well. ^-^
