Resolution help

Help, I can't change resolution, when I open resolution options it shows me only resolutions up to 640x480x16. I can't change it to larger resolution, I used the scroller to go to 1024x768x32, but I can't confirm it and it changes back to lower resolution.

Please help.

May sound strange but, is your screen capable of going higher than 640x480x16?

Only seems like the logical cause to me, unless this is a bug that as far as I'm aware no one else has had

I can't select any resolution higher than 640x480, I just can't get to it. And yes it is capable of higher resolutions.

How do I go down to higher resolution and select them?

How did you selected higher resolution, and can I set it manually someware?

Have you updated your video drivers, and is the right video card selected if you have more than one? (Stock vs what you put in)  Some specs on what you have might help.

Lets just say that I can play Legacy on full detail. The problem isn't my hardware, I just can't get to higher resolution in the graphics menu, I just can't get to it.

Look this is how my graphics option display looks like, how do I get dow to higher resolutions?

Well, on my version of Fleet Ops, the menu is still shown in 640x480, even if I set it to 1440x900, but if I launch a game, then it changes to 1440x900, (but shifts back to 640x480 every time I open the menu)

Maybe it's the same for you?

No, the game is in 640x480.

A question, what version is that?  None of my graphics options menus look like your screenshot, for vanilla or fleetops.

That looks like version 3.0.0-3.0.3  . That was a known error back then, but we are on patch seven now

So simply updating to 3.0.7 will fix it up nicely?

Hehe, good point: he'll have to uninstall the version he has and download the standalone 3.0.6 (which does not have this issue) and install. Then he's free to update to 3.0.7
