...Is Brutal and I love it! Finally was able to sit down for a solid round against them and my goodness it was tough. The Changes made to the Tavara are serious, that thing is practically a cube! If I don't have at least a dozen capital ships in my fleet against even a handful of those forget it. Rom's seemed to get off to a slow start, but once they get going they crank out Norexians, D'Deridex's, Backed up with a handful of Tavara's. Considering the Norexian is even with the Sovie it makes for some brutal battles.

I really like the new starfleet command changes as well, although being able to warp in a small fleet (3 or so vessels I think destroyer, cruiser, pocket battleship was mentioned before i.e. steamrunner, TMP excelsior, Galaxy) would be much more helpful. The arrival of even a single Descent Class is always a welcome sight though

the next patch (which should come soon) will include all new AI files that should be an even greater challange! so watch out! Tavaras are near you!

Yep these Warp-In changes (including our good old classic Excelsior) are on Todo and should come within one of the next patches we will do much more frequent patches with 3.0 including new content this time

I do find it kind of funny that the only ships within distress range are either experiments or top of the line /useful =P
