I have made this picture thread because it didn't really fit in with the normal screenshot thread.
As you need to practice this before you can actually see pictures like these in 3D.

What it does: http://www.vision3d.com/stereo.html (Tells you how it should work.)
Wiki: Stereoscopy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

How to do it: "How to See 3D: Magic Eye 3D and more" (Crossviewing)

Practice example: http://www.notsobiglife.com/assets/imag ... _balls.gif
(You should see depth between the balls)(Google for other guides and share it here which one works best for you.)

Open the image in an empty page. (try not to resize the image but view in default 2540x960 if possible)

tip: do make the pictures fit on 1 screen otherwise you'll have a hard time focussing.

Honestly, i have a hard time manipulating my eyes enough to get them to properly stereoview any image of that sort. Luckily i hope to find a program that can make a single stereoscopic image out of them soon!

Hehe... its easy!

Take the shot in paint and double the width and paste a whole copy right next to it!

actually if you want a single 3d picture you'll have to get 3D glasses.

These pics actually do not need any glasses to see

That's actually not true. There are certain kinds of images that are designed so that you don't need a second image. For instance, i have a book called 'Hidden Dimensions' that is full of them. I think it's called Autostereoscopic images. Now, it's actually hard if not impossible to get real color in them but it's a really neat effect.

Okay, if I have to switch both pictures together so that I see one I have to stretch my view to a point that is not longer biological possible. I have a monitor with 1680x1050 and 17 inch. I manage it to put 1/3 of the pictures together by my eyes, but not any further. In order to do that, my left eye and my right eye must look like they are on the outer border of my eyeballs... something like that:

I dont think that this is intendet right?

the muppet on the picture wouldn't even see things infront of him.

the 3D effect needs cross-eyes to do it

p.s. stop posting pics of yourself doing the complete opposite of what i tried to explain  :whistling:
