Never seen that before, can you replicate the action?

I just typed cloak into a 3.0.7 game and it did indeed recognise it as a cheat. Not sure what it does though. My guess is that it has something to do with mining.

hmm, I wonder if the mods know what it does? :shifty:

One time I did that and every unit became phased cloaked but could still fire weapons.  :blink:

Most RTS games have cheats... "cloak" is not one of the listed ones for the original A2 however... odd.

Edit: strange....most of the other cheats work.. but cloak ain't doing nothing for me :blink:
Edit again: I found out that if you have ships selected, the more ships the more zeroes appear... 1 per ship  :pinch:

yes, it's a cheat and it shouldn't work in multiplayer games. that's a fault on my side. however as it is just an awesome developer cheat, it doesn't do anything that would help you as player and is really nothing that would make multiplayer games exploitable in any way. all it does is to show awesome numbers ;) thanks for reporting, i will move that out of the way for the next patch :)

Ok. Thanks. Anyother cheats while I'm at it?  :hmmm:

Does that mean it's being removed? It looks like it could be amusing.

one "cheat" that even works in multiplayer is 'cine'. (though i do not recommend to use it in multiplayer games) it disables your interface (including cursor!) which is quite useful if you want to take a fraps video without the interface in the way. to get the interface back you have to activate the chat with the enter key and 'cine' blindly again (as you have no chat input too)
'fps' - shows frames per seconds and other stuff, type again to disable
'version' - shows the fleet operations version

there are a few singleplayer ones, the only real cheat is 'levelup' which instantly promotes a vessel to the next rank.
everything else is more or less useless developer stuff.
oh, i nearly forgot about 'crash' :D but please don't send me a report after testing this one

I found a cheat! I typed in:

"all_veteran=enterprise"

And that was in instant action (I was the feds)! The thing is that every ship, even the ones I built were vets. And the veteran limit was set to infinity. For example, if I had 10 vets, it would say the slots consumed over an infinity sign.
