Suns?

I remember a while ago that suns where mentioned, as in they where going to be included, anyhow is that going to be in V3 and if so are there any pics, i dont remember seeing any in the gallery?

yeah there will be, at the min i have been using a sh*ttey make shift ones (lots of red nebs on the same place) it does the job lol

Like it, could be more glowing or summat, maybe have solar flares but its cool never the less

yep, that's not a very good perspevtive. the sun is very far away in tis pic. in the normal game camera a sun lightens the whole screen. i wanted to do some lens flare effects but that's not that easy with the good old a2 engine

Yeh i see what you mean, but it wouldnt be to hard to animate a few solar flares an stuff, i aint sure about glowing. Can you use animated textures with lightmaps, maybe animated lightmaps or am i talking rubbish. I have real problems with textures lol.

Well, it doesn't hurt to brag any, but it does work. I was trying to get them to try and figure it out... Kind of like a riddle. You don't just give away the answer.
