hopefully everything is working. we made some tests and so far all looks good, but the savegame implementation is still experimental

nah, i got some bug reports already, with crashes that seem to occur under some unforeseeable circumstances, but that was to be expected

Here's something, well, odd: I was testing out savegames, trying to get it to crash without fiddling with it, so I was playing as the Dominion and I saved before I chose my avatar. Now, I reloaded the savegame, and everything was fine, except that I COULDN'T CHOOSE MY AVATAR! Any suggestions as to why this might happen?
