Hey! I just wanted to say thank you to the development team for all your hard work. I know I don't always compliment the game as much as I should, as I am usually trying to mention things I feel need changing, but every now and then I think it's important to say thank you as well. So good job!
I think what I like most about Fleet Operations is that you've made a professional level game, and kept the spirit of Star Trek alive. Things are pretty close to what we saw in the show, and at the same time, there is a great deal of creativity and flexibility. Also, your commitment to making the races balanced is incredible. Most games have trouble balancing 3 races. You have 5 and will eventually try for 8! So I'm very impressed with the scope of what you've created. You've definitely got balls!
Oh, and there's definitely an open invitation to come play online with us on Tunngle. We'd love to play with you guys as soon as you clone yourselves in order to gain the free time. Barring that, just chain Detektor to a desk and force him to play in your stead.
So I figure we'll use this space, and people can write what their favorite thing about Fleet Operations is!

For me its definitely the Coding expansion. With it brings new gameplay, and a completely different game. No mod so far comes close to the level of change that has been made in this game by you guys.
Thank you guys soo much!!!

Fantastic game, with my high res flat screen monitor, i see what a great, no awsome job you guys did on the Galaxy and Ambassador class. My Ambassador class is a powerhouse, thanks to boggz, i saw what a fine ship she really is. The Nebula Class holy shit it looks great.

yes i got to say, great game, i think it coudl sell nowadays, and i agree with you, navy guy, i love the ambassador model, it is really amazing, same with miranda 2 and nebula,
however you are mistaken navy guy, there is no galaxy class starship in here, i know what model you are referring to, and yes it is a very great model, but no galaxy class, see a galaxy class splits in two, and the ship you are referrign to doesnt
see a galaxy has different planets, different pieces that make it up, hence why the galaxy class splits into two, (oh i wish it was in game) where as a nebula, is fluid its one whole thing, which is why its in one piece, just wanted to clear that up navy guy,
its okay that you thougt it was galaxy class, common mistake actually, i dont see why its so hard to spot, even the great devs miss it
however continuing, seriously, this is a great game, i love how you guys put in the time to make this game what it is, i know you cant make everyone happy, but you do a dang good job, its nice to know that a patch is allways going to be out "soon" where as most games you wait for months and years...... wait a sec!
anyway i do love the fact that we do get a good amount of patches and constant updates, this is a high caliber game, im surprised you guys dont work for a game company,
thanks for all the work,
however, one tiny request, id like for you guys to put the real galaxy in the game, i dont like having a fake ship taking the galaxys place
thanks for the hard work!

Yup - I'll second what Mal said. I'm a picky gamer and a SC lover and this game is getting my time. The dev staff has made a great game (for FREE!!) and I have great expectations for the future of this game. Keep up the great work!

Way to turn a purely thank you thread into a passive-voice complaint, Ray.
Cheers!

I love Flops! I was quick to buy ST-Armada and Armada 2 back in the day simply because i was a huge trek fan yet those games never were any good in my opinion. But since i've found fleetops all my space battle needs have been satisfied...
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK..

in my opinion armada I/II were good games, but with really low replay value. fleet ops is a far better game than both of them, and has immense replay value, its the only game which i keep a shortcut on my desktop for.

its a shame the law prevents the devs from selling this mod, or they could make serious ca$h, or kä€h as i think fleet ops devs live in germany.

Boggz, shut up, i wasnt complaining, i was just talking about a misname,
as i said in my post, the work you devs do is amazing, theres no other game out there that has the level of support that this game has, and its running on a very old engine, so thanks!
