Thank you for making ST Armada II work under windows 8 64, its one of my all time favorite games! I just DLed last night and I like the fact you added the Dominion.

You will find that the Dominion is by far the most brutal ai in the game.

The borg were broken in the last game and the Cardies were too weak, but they did not have a large empire anyway...

Those mother fucking Serkas annoy me to no end. They always manage to find the one area that I don't have protection on some mining colony or something and I have to run back with 30 Defiants to take out that one stupid ship.

I've found that the difficulty of the AI seems to change with the duration of the game. Romulan AI's are the most powerful in open games, but in games where the different bases can be walled off from each other the Dominion is the most powerful AI. Also, I've found that the Federation AI will actually become the most powerful AI if they are left alone for a really long time. Dominion can swarm the Feds, but the Fed turrets are just ridiculous in super long games.
