after about 15 games of fleet ops i'm starting to think the turrets should be seriously toned down (nerfed). they seem to be able to totally dominate the ai, last game i played was against a hard borg ai with them having 30% build time and 30% build cost and i still won easy, and the ai seemed to build nothing but interceptors (i built up turret walls at all the moons but his home base) my turrets absolutely slaughtered everything he threw at, i've done the same nearly every game and it ALWAYS works aslong as you can get a builder over to the moons there gonna take (or build a wall infront of your own base) all they send is first tier destroyers and its easy to just sit there for the wole game building up and then wipe them out, maybe they should be moved higher up the tech tree (so it takes tell mid-game to get them) either that or make them take longer to build or cost more. this would make the ai MUCH harder and make it so the focus is more on smaller combat and tactical strikes against the enemies resource and ship production instead of just sitting there and building up for a huge attack. just a bit of feedback.

the turrets will get weaker, i have noticed the same thing..
the AI Interdeptor-Bug is known and already fixed .. it is a problem with the AI-file.. wait for beta2 to get this :-)

always standard resources, i can't wait for beta 2!!! i noticed the same thing happens sometimes for the federation (they send only sabres) and to a lesser degree with the klingon ai (they won't seem to build k'vorts atol and they won't build anything bigger than the cruiser that comes before the vor'cha ) will that be fixed or is it just the way i play keeping the ai from building those ships?

it was an error in the general AI system, has already been fixed
