I love it.  I Love the sound, the speed, the rate of fire, I love it.

  Too bad it's only available as a Veteran-Ranked addon for Saber's and Canav's.

I almost wish the Defiant had one.

its quite an experimental technology that has not gone in mass production :) i will see if i can put it on something in a future patch

Experimental phaser?  Sounds like something that would end up on a Sovvie or a Phalanx.

would be good on the decent seeing as it has no after firing torps.

but more than that i agree, would like to see it bumped onto the sov or galaxy.

Smaller ships are better for experimental weapons, less crew to risk and easier to replace. Bigger ships get the best stuff when it is in full use.

Well, that does kinda depend.  If you decide to try to wedge a starbase phaser system onto a ship, anything smaller than a Sovvie probably just won't have enough room.  :)
