Warp-In capture

If a Warp-In ship is assimilated or taken, does it count as 'lost' and deduct supplies as if it was destroyed?

I have absolutely no idea, but also it would be interesting to know, if a captured or assimilated ship, which gets destroyed, reduces the supply of the player, who captured or assimilated it ...?

lol it would be funny if you lost supplies because you captured a warpin then it died immediately after from weapons fire.
